About
Every image
begins with a story.
I’m Rudy Hartt, an artist exploring how characters, images and unexpected encounters can tell stories. My work brings the energy of street art into imagined worlds, looking for moments of tension, tenderness and connection.
I studied at Central Saint Martins and London College of Communication, both part of University of the Arts London. I have undertaken artistic residencies at the Victoria and Albert Museum and Old School / Gamli skóli.
My practice has also taken shape through short films and a theatre production. I was shortlisted at the Imperial War Museum Short Film Festival.
Alongside my creative work, I have volunteered with organisations supporting vulnerable people within communities. Across these different settings, I remain interested in the individual: the lives we pass by, the stories we share, and the possibility of seeing one another differently.
